As we expand into sterile IV fluids production, we are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Engineering Manager to lead the technical and engineering aspects of this strategic manufacturing project. Key ResponsibilitiesLead facility design and construction to meet sterile manufacturing and ISO 14644 standards. Oversee installation and qualification of utility systems (WFI, clean steam, HVAC, PW, compressed air).
Manage procurement, commissioning, and validation of pharmaceutical equipment (e. g. autoclaves, filling lines). Develop and execute engineering qualification protocols (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) and the Validation Master Plan (VMP). Establish preventive maintenance and calibration programs to ensure operational integrity. Ensure compliance with cGMP and global regulatory standards (WHO, FDA, EMA, PIC/S). Coordinate cross-functional efforts with QA, construction, and production teams. Train technical staff on GMP engineering systems and develop team capacity for long-term sustainability. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Chemical Engineering. (Advanced certifications in pharmaceutical engineering or project management are a plus.
)Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical engineering or IV fluids manufacturing. Proven experience in greenfield or expansion pharmaceutical projects. Deep understanding of cGMP, WHO/FDA/EMA/PIC/S regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in utility systems, equipment qualification, and CAD/project management tools.
