Job DescriptionWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Calibration Officer to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily calibration and testing work, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and international standards. You will play a key part in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and traceability of measurement data, as well as supporting internal teams and customers with technical expertise. Key ResponsibilitiesExecute daily calibration and testing tasks in compliance with established procedures and standards.
Identify, report, and take corrective actions for defective or non-conforming equipment and instruments. Ensure accurate sampling, repeat cycles of measurements, and proper completion of calibration procedures in line with international/national standards. Prepare calibration data clearly and accurately in job order forms, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Perform and verify budget uncertainty calculations in accordance with GUM (Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement). Analyze calibration data and expanded uncertainties, ensuring compliance with the laboratory’s calibration and measurement capability (CMC). Provide technical support to customers and sales teams.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance with 5S / 7S practices, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of reference instruments. Conduct safety checks and ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with WSH and safety regulations. Job RequirementNo prior experience or specific education background required – training will be provided. Good working attitude and a strong team player. Willing to work overtime (with overtime pay). Basic Microsoft Excel skills required. Responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
