Our people are recognised for demonstrating these values in their everyday work: Safety First Focusing on our customer Taking responsibility Showing initiative Working together The Role We have two exciting temporary part-time Laboratory Assistant (Nursing) roles available until 26 June 2026 (unless otherwise determined) to join the Faculty of Nursing and Community Services. 0.2 FTE (7 hrs 38 mins /week) at TAFE Queensland’s Southbank Campus, programmed on Wednesdays 0.32 FTE (12 hours/week) at TAFE Queensland’s Caboolture campus, programmed day to be confirmed. TAFE Queensland is seeking a Simulation Technical Assistant (Nursing) to support staff and students during Clinical Skills sessions within our simulated nursing training wards.This hands on role is responsible for providing technical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of simulation scenarios, contributing indirectly to the practical learning experience of nursing students.The position supports the Nursing Team by maintaining simulated Nursing and healthcare training wards in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.This position reports to the Clinical Laboratory Manager.
