Laboratory Scientist

The Laboratory Scientist must have appropriate training, experience and professional experience to take ownership of and work with the following activities.Responsibilities Include But Not Necessarily Limited ToTo independently run defined methods in the laboratory and perform data analysis work within defined procedures and practices.Process responsibility for QCBe involved in change management processes and continuous improvements, with the ability to drive some projectsGeneration and review of new/revised laboratory protocols and procedures as defined within specific projectsManage deviations and CAPAs as requiredResponsibilities within the establishment and maintenance of technical documentation and activities to generate this documentation as applicable within the specific projectsTrain laboratory staff in defined methodsProvide operational support both within the team and cross-functionallyLiaise with appropriate CareDx personnel to ensure laboratory activities are performed in compliance with all appropriate requirements.Functional subject matter expertise in technical investigations.Moreover, there may be other personal specific responsibilities to the job description. These are in that case further described in MA14.Competence RequirementsMaster’s degree in molecular Genetics, Molecular Biology, Medical Science or equivalent.Experience with sequencing assays and ability to independently work in an NGS and qPCR laboratory and analyze dataDemonstrated experience of working in a regulated environmentDemonstrated knowledge of HLA, transplant and/or Immuno-genetics is beneficialStrong problem-solving skillsStrong computer skills.Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and writtenEffective interpersonal skillsPersonal qualities and experience are highly valuedAdditional DetailsEvery individual at CareDx has a direct impact on our collective mission to improve the lives of organ transplant patients worldwide.
