This position is vital for monitoring and protecting the Central Coast community and the environment. You will ensure compliance with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, EPA Licence conditions, and ANZECC and other regulatory guidelines.In addition to performing analyses, the Technician will maintain laboratory operations, assist in training staff, and contribute to quality assurance processes. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will create value for the community.This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Havea Degree qualification in Environmental, Chemistry or Natural Science or related field OR extensive contemporary experience in conducting analysis on water and wastewater, combined with ongoing professional developmenta current Class C Drivers Licence a valid Construction General Induction Card - NSW SafeWork or equivalent experience in the collection, storage, preservation and routine analysis on samples of water and wastewater in accordance with accepted industry standardsexperience in a laboratory testing environment including methods for ensuring consistency and adherence to industry standardsOur provides more information for you to learn more about this role.Other Important Information$52.84 per hour to $63.52 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + 12% superannuation. We have a casual role available.This role is located at the Charmhaven Treatment Plant.
