Laboratory Technician (m/f/x)

Our Advanced Development team is looking for a driven and experiencedLaboratory Technician (m/f/x).As Laboratory Technician you will perform the lab-scale R&D activities related to electrodes processing and lab-scale cells electrical tests by following the laboratory procedures and reporting guidelines.This position would be based at our site in Markranstädt, Leipzig (Germany).Your key tasks:Execution of lab-scale R&D experiments according to development project plans, from material characterization and electrode preparation to electrochemical cells testingSupporting R&D prototype-scale activities by pilot electrode density analysis, industrial cells filling, and materials preparation for pilot coatingsCreation and maintenance of laboratory SWIs, including the documentation of process improvementsResponsible for maintaining the Lab Technicians' work planAnalysis and documentation of the results; Updating respective project's pages/documentation according to the lab- and prototype-scale activitiesConduct development cell level tests, including cell construction, disassemblyInterpretation of results based on basic electrochemical propertiesMaintaining laboratory equipmentRespecting the agreed EHS principlesRequirementsYou are a great match if you have:2 years of experience in battery industry/academic laboratory: Slurry preparation, electrode preparation, cell preparationSkills and experience in Laboratory work and handling of dangerous ChemicalsObservation skills and attention to detailA thorough and methodical approach to workThe ability to document test results accurately and write reportsOpen and curious personalityGood communication skillsEnglish languageGreat addition: Data analysis skillsBenefitsWe offer flexible working hours without core working hours and sufficient freedom for your own ideasA flat hierarchy culture - fostering our great working atmosphereUse the training budget to expand your knowledge and competenciesHelpfulness among colleagues is not just an empty phrase but a practice everydayA motivating opportunity for continuous growth at Skeleton.
