We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technologist (Microbiology) to support quality control operations in a GMP-regulated environment. The individual will perform microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and laboratory support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures. Cultivate, isolate, and identify microorganisms.
Perform microbial analysis of Purified Water and Potable WaterConduct microbial limit tests for excipients, APIs, stability, and finished product samplesPrepare and qualify culture media according to standard proceduresExecute culture media growth promotion and sterility checksMaintain laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and compliant stateKeep accurate and timely records of daily tests in logbooks and systemsPerform daily calibration checks of laboratory equipment using calibrated weights, buffers, and thermometersConduct periodic checks of autoclaves and incubators per proceduresPerform sampling and/or testing for the Environmental Monitoring Program (including product contact surfaces, swabs, ambient air, and compressed air) across microbiology labs, manufacturing, and packaging areasFollow aseptic techniques and current procedures during all activitiesAssist in training new technologists on laboratory tasks and practicesPerform method qualifications and validations as requiredCarry out other duties as assigned to support laboratory and quality operationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Microbiology2 to 4 years of direct experience in GMP Industry.
