Essential Functions, Primary Responsibilities And ObjectivesThe Center Coordinator provides daily Administrative support for the Center Director and Staff, including but not limited to answering telephones, processing student applications, assisting with student registrations, coordinating new hire paperwork and ordering supplies. As primary custodian of the Center’s petty cash fund, provides for control, issuance, use and disposition/documentation of these funds. Essential Functions Maintains financial records related to the request, purchases order payments and receipt of property or services within the perimeters of an approved fiscal year budget.

Assists prospective students by providing enrollment materials and relevant information regarding the enrollment process. Offer guidance to these prospects to ensure a timely and efficient enrollment process. Maintains enrollment application database in accordance with established procedures. Main responsibilities will include data entry, data updating and data transfer. Maintains office inventory and initiates requests for requests for requisitions. Coordinates with the Human Resources department with respect to the processing of all employment contracts and new hire paperwork for Center staff and adjunct faculty members.

Interacts with bookstore personnel for the purpose of book orders, merchandise orders, and other bookstore activities and obtains current textbook desk copies for adjunct faculty. Assists students in completing paperwork which includes forms for financial aid, degree programs, continuing education, and personal enrichment programs. Maintain accurate files containing all schedules, class lists, and other information related to each semester. Maintain fiscal records for each student, providing receipts for cash received. Maintain the Center’s bank account and banking paperwork. Schedule recruitment visits/events at local high schools and career link centers for recruiting staff.

Assists with Continuing Education scheduling and coordination. Must be able to work flexible hours. Performs all other duties assigned. Key Competencies Capable of working independently with little or no supervision. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well as a member of the office team. Must work well with students and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Database Management). Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible schedule. Ability to organize and follow up conscientiously. Flexible/Adaptable to change.

Ability to prioritize workload. Education Associate’s Degree required, preferably in Management or related field. Bachelor Degree preferred.
