The Warehouse Associate is an order picker, who uses a RF scanner to pick orders and pushes a cart for transporting these orders. The warehouse associate moves the cart through the aisles and accurately picks the corresponding products from product bins. The product is placed in a designated spot on the cart. Small items are bagged or banded together for easier identification before being placed on the cart. The warehouse associate is responsible for verifying the product during the picking process and may also verify during the packing process.
When finished the order picking process, the cart is taken to a staging area. The warehouse associate repeats the process for a new series of orders. Warehouse associates will have opportunities to cross train in shipping, receiving, order checking, order packing and other positions within the warehouse. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8 am to 5 pm and 2 Saturdays a month 8 am to 2 pm. RequirementsAbility to use RF Scanning devices and computers for general warehouse functions. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Able to stand and walk in a warehouse space for up to 8 hours per shift.
Able to climb a ladder to retrieve items on higher shelves. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous experience with archery product or working in a pick/pack facility a plus. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
