Landscape Designer & Sales. We’re seeking a positive, personable, and organized individual who possesses a passion for horticulture and holds prior design experience in the Landscaping and Hardscaping industry.This position will entail interfacing with clients and their ideas in order to design both landscape and hardscape projects while successfully managing and selling these projects in order to achieve certain sales goals established by the company, and do so while maintaining outstanding customer service.ResponsibilitiesPerform on site visits for new and existing clients to effectively uncover their wants and needs by using clear communication skills.Design creative, unique, and functional projects based on information gathered from site visits while accurately communicating/managing projects to foreman once won.Properly construct estimates based on information gathered from onsite visits and produce drawn or electronic designs if needed.Sell projects in an honest yet profitable manner to meet department sales goals.Responsible for keeping up to date with industry knowledge of both Landscape and Hardscape for proper practices and products.Continually maintain and grow a solid client base by reflecting the company’s values.RequirementsAt least 3 years experience in Landscape & Hardscape Industry; direct customer interface experience preferred.At least 2 years experience in Landscape and Hardscape design.Ability to successfully type and navigate company electronic systems for the purpose of estimating, inter-department communication, and customer communication.Uphold and exemplify the values of the company, and the Ethos of the Sales Department.Capacity to effectively communicate across all departments of the company.Ability to productively handle multiple projects/tasks at once while in charge of one’s own flexible schedule.Strong sales & people skillsProficient working/typing in word processing, & design softwareStrong interpersonal skillsEnergetic and positive attitudeCreative & innovativeDetailedCompetent horticultural knowledgeOrganizedStrong time management skillsUncompromising ethical viewCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary ($75k +/- base)Commission based bonusesPTOMatching IRAHealth/ Dental/ Vision/ Life InsuranceMileage Reimbursement or company vehicleProfessional Development opportunitiesVibrant and collaborative work environmentIf you have a passion for landscaping and a desire to contribute to the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces, we encourage you to apply.
