We’re looking for a talented Virtual Landscape Designer to support our design studio from overseas. If you love creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces and you’re confident working independently with a high level of detail — this role is for you.Job HighlightsPaid Hours per Week: 40Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour unpaid break | Australian Eastern TimeWork Arrangement: Work from homeContract: Independent ContractorSide note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.What You’ll DoProduce high-quality 2D and 3D landscape designsTurn client briefs into clear, buildable conceptsPrepare planting plans, finishes schedules, and design documentationUpdate and refine designs based on client or manager feedbackAssist with material research and design inspiration boardsPrepare drawings for estimating and construction teamsCommunicate with our Design Manager via email, Zoom, and SlackKeep projects organised, on time, and consistent with our brand and standardsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong design skills + a good eye for aestheticsProficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Lumion, or similar design softwareUnderstanding of general landscape layout, planting, and construction principlesAbility to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work to set design frameworksExcellent English communicationSomeone reliable, proactive, and detail-obsessedRequirementsDiploma or Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or related fieldProven experience preparing 2D and 3D design presentations (portfolio required)Experience working with international clients (preferred but not essential)Familiarity with Australian plants, materials, and construction standards (bonus — training provided)Ability to read and interpret site plans, surveys, and architectural drawingsStrong computer literacy and reliable internet connectionIndependent Contractor PerksHMO Coverage in eligible locationsPermanent work from homeImmediate hiringReminder:Kindly apply directly to the link provided; you will be redirected to BruntWork’s Career Site.
