As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a VFX Artist Intern to join the team and help us in crafting the high caliber games our fans have come to expect. The VFX team's mission is to craft impressive spells that feel magical, believable, and understandable: spells that tell a story and suspend disbelief.

They also create memorable environment effects that make the world feel alive and fantastical, effects that support the mood and emotion of places and events, enhancing the overall player experience. ResponsibilitiesCreate Visual Effects for gameplay abilities (spells), creatures, custom scripted events and for environmental decoration using Particle Effects, models and custom shaders. Occasional contributions to cinematic VFX depending on project demandsRequirementsStrong portfolio showing complex real-time VFX with a preference for "Magical VFX", demonstrating a solid understanding of color, composition and timing. Portfolio should include a variety of styles and types of VFX. Intermediate knowledge of any DCC package (e.

g. Maya, Blender, Houdini). Must be willing to work onsite in the StudioA professional level of written and spoken English*Nice to havesPortfolio that shows a wide range of visual effects, from Magical/Fantasy to realistic fire and destruction. Houdini/Substance/Maya knowledge. Production experience in Unreal, Unity or other modern engine. Having shipped a game -no matter how small- or completed a student project. Experience creating custom shaders using node-based tools or scripting (e. g.
