Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will be embedded in a high-performing global team, developing innovative solutions across Fintech operations in Egypt, India, and Pakistan, and working on cutting-edge technologies with an environment that promotes continuous learning and growth. Your RoleAs a Data Engineer, you will:

Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing. Engineer robust, reusable, and automated data workflows across varied data sources and systems. Design and implement data lake and warehousing architectures. Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and integration strategies. Ensure data quality, monitor reliability, and troubleshoot pipeline issues. Deliver high-quality, well-tested code and documentation for analytics and operational use cases. Participate in Agile practices including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Stay updated with the latest in data engineering and generative AI trends. What You BringEducation & Core Skills: B. Sc. /M. Sc.

/PhD in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or related field. Strong proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and distributed computing technologies (e. g. , Spark, Kinesis). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, TDD, and version control systems. Sound knowledge of data modeling, data lake architecture, and cloud environments. Experience with Fintech systems is a plus. AI & ML Exposure: Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and understanding of monitoring ML models in production. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Working knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Soft Skills:
