We are looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The Human Resources Business Partner provides expertise, advice and creative solutions to attract and engage talents and to promote a high-performance culture combined with an inclusive and stimulating work environment. The Challenge: In the context of deploying a new Human Resources service offering, you will: Understand your internal clients’ business issues, identify and prioritize HR needs in order to translate them into strategies, innovative integrated solutions and concrete action plans that will facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
Define, influence and promote employee experience, employer brand and organizational culture. Ensure the deployment of HR programs, solutions and key initiatives in partnership with HR centres of expertise. Guide and advise Managers on team effectiveness and engagement, conflict resolution and employee relations; guide them on governance, litigious issues and effective enforcement of labour laws and HR policies, procedures and programs. Collaborate proactively with clients and play an influent advisory role on change management, talent development, succession planning and communications. Optimize existing practices, processes and programs and implement new ones based on industry’s best practices.
Propose and use HR key performance indicators to confirm needs, provide observations on trends, and propose appropriate interventions.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, management or a related field of studyMinimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, including at least 2 years in a HR Business Partner or Generalist positionStrong business acumenCreative, proactive, accountable, flexible, credible, curious, and positiveAbility to learn quickly, to influence, to work in a changing environment, to analyze and solve problemsExcellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong knowledge of the various labour laws in force and their applicationStrong knowledge of the Office SuiteKnowledge of one or more HR information systems and toolsCertified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designationAvailability to travel 25% of the timeBilingualism (English and French) will be considered an assetAdditional InformationLaura Canada is a family-owned retailer housing two iconic women’s fashion apparel brands, Laura and Melanie Lyne.
