Lawyer (Italy) (Part-time)

Apilex is looking for Italy-focused legal professionals to help localize Apilex to Italian Law by identifying the right legal data sources, defining country requirements, and executing the operational work needed for a successful market launch.What you’ll do:Identify and define Italy-specific legal data requirements needed to make the product compliant and market-readyMap Italian legal workflows into structured, product-ready logicSpecify “what the product needs to know” for Italy: terminology, document standards, references, edge cases, validation rulesCoordinate country operations required for launch (data sourcing, vendor/legal coordination, process setup, documentation)Evaluate and improve AI outputs for Italy with clear feedback loopsWork closely with Product/EngineeringSupport escalations when needed (edge cases, quality issues, domain validation)What we’re looking for:2+ years experience in legal practice, in-house legal, or legal operations with strong product/tech interestStrong knowledge of Italian LawAbility to identify and structure country requirements into clear, actionable specs for engineering teamsComfortable working iteratively and documenting decisions and standardsProfessional English for internal collaborationNice to have:Experience with legal tech tools, CLM workflows, or knowledge managementFamiliarity with AI/LLM tooling, prompt design, and evaluation methodsBackground in compliance, procurement contracts, or regulated industriesExperience working with law firms or enterprise legal departmentsBuild and maintain high-quality Italy legal content: playbooks, clause libraries, standard templates, QA guidelines
