As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your talents and contribute to building a prosperous future for all.Apply Now and Be Part of Our Journey to Inspire Sustainable Lives in Every Home!What awaits you in this role?We are looking for a passionate Lead – Legal Counsel-Corporate/M&A to join our team at the Legal and Compliance Directorate.Provide high quality legal services in a wide range of areas including complex commercial transactions and contracts and any legal matters associated with Beko global business, Advise on international M&A transactions (e.g. joint ventures, acquisitions or divestitures); drafting and participating in the negotiation of M&A transaction documents, Support business teams for the commercial transactions from legal perspective and drafting various type of contracts, participating to the negotiations with third parties, outside counsels, Manage the cross-border transactions by liaising with external law firms and other advisers and analysing the advice of other legal counsels in the area of local law queries and due diligence, Prepare, maintain and oversee corporate governance documentation for the board meeting and shareholders meeting of Beko Global subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local legislation, group policies, and corporate governance standards, Monitor and maintain corporate structure integrity of Beko Global subsidiaries on a regular basis, ensuring legal compliance, timely corporate housekeeping, and alignment with group-level governance frameworks, Assist corporate events such as incorporations, capital increases/decreases, amendments to articles of association, director appointments and resignations, liquidations, and restructuring projects. The position is located in İstanbul, Sütlüce.How do we describe the perfect match?Bachelor’s Degree in Law, preferably with LLM studies, At least 5 years’ experience in a reputable law firm with a Corporate/M&A practice, Excellent verbal and written skills in English, Experience managing cross-country matters/projects, Ability to operate in a complex environment in an global company, Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity, Having no restriction on traveling, Working independently on assigned legal projects, Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, A great team player with a self-initiative mindset, Being open to communication is always our priority.
