As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your talents and contribute to building a prosperous future for all.Apply Now and Be Part of Our Journey to Inspire Sustainable Lives in Every Home!What awaits you in this role?We are looking for a passionate Lead - Legal Counsel (Data Privacy) join our team at Legal & Compliance Directorate.You will provide direction and guidance to all teams on various complex data privacy projects,Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions on data privacyOversee data privacy compliance from a global standpointSupport the implementation of Beko Global Privacy and Data Protection Compliance ProgramProvide legal advice on various privacy and data protection issues, including compliance with the KVKK,GDPR and data protection laws of other jurisdictionsAssist business units with understanding the Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs)Implement and update privacy related procedures, best practices, and guidelinesMonitor changes in global Privacy & Data Protection laws and work with business to address thesedevelopmentsAssist the Global Data Protection Officer in monitoring compliance with applicable laws and Beko PoliciesAssist the Global Data Protection Officer in the event of regulatory audits, complaints and investigationsProvide advice on Records of Processing, Data Protection Impact Assessments and Transfer ImpactAssessmentsThe position is located in İstanbul, Sütlüce.How do we describe the perfect match?Bachelor’s Degree in Law and CIPPE and CIPPM qualifications are must neededMultinational experience is desirableMinimum of 5 years in the practice of law in a high-quality law firm or in-house environment, and beexperienced legal professional with a full understanding of privacy and data protection legal issues (KVKKand GDPR)Strong analytical and advisory skills, including the ability to review and evaluate multi-faceted issues andcounsel business colleagues on complex data privacy questions relating to various business mattersThe ability to use creative problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a pragmatic and sound mannerCompetence in coordination and organization issuesExcellent verbal and written skills in EnglishFlexible and open to new perspectives and diversityA great team player with a self-initiative mindsetBeing open to communication is always our priorityWe are an equal opportunity employer.
