Enterprise AI team is part of Finnair’s Digital Enterprise team, which play a crucial role in supporting Finnair’s Finance & Procurement, People & Culture and other Group Functions as well as helping to scale AI capabilities to meet the unique needs of the organization.Enterprise AI team’s mission is to seamlessly integrate AI into daily work, delivering reliable, effective, and creative solutions that enhance workplace experience. Additionally, the team is responsible for scaling AI capabilities to address the distinct needs of the organization and drive AI innovation collectively across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Finnair team!As a Lead AI Developer, you will design, build, and scale AI products and agents that power frontline operations and office productivity. As the technical counterpart to our Enterprise AI Lead, the main responsibility of this role is to drive AI developments and deployments, executing on use cases prioritized in accordance with our strategy. You will work closely with domain experts across various organizational units, and translate ideas into secure, compliant, and measurable outcomes.Your Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited ToLead the design of scalable AI architectures and roadmap, including data pipelines, model deployment frameworks to support development and deployment of various GenAI applications. Design and enforce MLOps & LLMOps standards for enterprise solutions: common processes, standards and frameworks supporting AI and ML development, monitoring, testing and operationalization. Oversee end-to-end life cycle and quality management activities Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, data platform team members and other relevant stakeholders, to understand needs to develop architecture, applications, and how they interact with other enterprise systems Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and new product feature for advance analytics and AI Required skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Strong understanding of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) practices, including DevOps principles such as IaC and related tools, containerization and CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates have few years of hands-on experience in GenAI solution architecture. Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and tools such as AWS, Azure, GCP as well as ML platforms and tools. Understanding of data management architecture that feeds ML algorithms (working knowledge of SQL, data warehouses, datalakes). Proficiency in modern software engineering (Python, JavaScript, containers, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native services) and agile delivery practices. Working knowledge of open-source machine learning libraries such as sklearn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch. Technical knowledge of LLM frameworks and libraries (i.e. Hugging Face, LangChain, etc), agentic workflows, vector search, and RAG pipelines are of advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
