You’ll also play a key role in organizational change management as we transform our systems, culture, and ways of working. Hopefully you are excited to join us on this journey!Your responsibilities:Lead the modernization of a legacy architecture into a scalable, secure, and maintainable systemDefine and maintain a clear reference architecture and ensure its consistent applicationCollaborate with stakeholders from product management, development, and business to frame architecture proposals as clear, concise plans with business justification and cost transparencyFacilitate architectural decision-making across teams and initiativesDrive adoption of modern tools, practices, and technologiesCoach and influence teams across the organization — from developers to executive leadershipIdentify and manage architectural risks and technical debtLead change and handle architectural resistance constructivelyWhat we are looking for:10+ years of experience in software development2+ years in an architectural lead roleProven success in leading complex modernization initiatives, especially for legacy SaaS platformsTrack record of cross-functional stakeholder collaborationDeep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and API design (preferably on Azure)Experience with SaaS architectures and scalable multi-tenant systemsExperience in leveraging AI-tools in software development, with an interest in driving their adoption through practical examplesFluency in English (spoken and written)You’re a clear and structured communicator who can distill complex ideas into concise, compelling plans with strong business justification. You inspire trust, navigate change with confidence, and bring people with you through the change.This is a full-time, permanent opportunity located in Espoo, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model. In the beginning, we wish that you’d be able to come to the office 2-3 days a week, and 1-2 days when you’re all settled in.
