We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to drive ownership and execution with minimal input. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record executing in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll DoDrive daily execution within assigned buyers in cradle to grave procurement activities. Set, monitor and drive performance as set within procurement KPI dashboardTrack incoming Purchase requisitions for ATL procurement and ensure buyer assigned executes in the expected timeframe.Ensure workload across assigned buyers is leveled and managed to meet expectations.Key point of contact for assigned team members in addressing questions in execution of managing Requisitions, POs and Invoicing.Be a key point of contact for status on critical components for main product lines.Ensure assigned buyers are tracking critical components causing delays to production or potential delays as flagged by Engineering, Production or Planning.Participate in production and program meetings to report supply chain status and ensure appropriate planningExpedite orders to ensure required delivery dates are met and communicate status of open ordersParticipate in the management of our supplier base:Ensure critical suppliers are following Open order reporting, Order Acknowledgements and compliant to on time delivery expectations.Track and report supplier performance, supply chain metrics, and budgetary spend per programAssist with obtaining supplier pricing, proposal preparation, supplier capability survey submission review, establishing terms, and other supplier management, as neededMonitor quality and delivery performance of suppliersAssist in resolution of various supplier issues, including the resolution of billing discrepancies, shipment accuracy, and adherence to expected supplier performancePerform other duties as assignedBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in a buyer role OR high school diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experienceExperience with commodity-based contract manufacturing, ERP, proposals, planning, and technical sourcing.History of applying standard purchasing practices and procedures including compliance for audits and traceabilityKnowledge of best practices for inventory management to maintain traceability and cost accuracyAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, employees, and suppliers.Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive execution with minimal inputDemonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work on-site with up to 25% travel as requiredMust be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in defense contract manufacturing, AS9100 QMS, ITAR, and HazMat experienceWorking knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR)Strong understanding or MRP and demand planningUS Salary Range$111,000—$147,000 USDHealthcare BenefitsThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
