Lead Mechanical Completion / Lead Commissioning EngineerIn this role, you will be responsible for leading all mechanical completion and commissioning activities for a new chemical recycling project in Stenungsund, Sweden. The project involves the construction of an innovative unit for chemical recycling of plastic waste, converting end-of-life plastics into recycled feedstock for the production of new polymers. The first three months will be spent in Lysaker, Norway, followed by work at the construction site in Sweden.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate all mechanical completion and commissioning activities for systems and equipmentDevelop, review, and update commissioning procedures, test documentation, and checklistsEnsure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulationsCollaborate closely with the engineering team in Norway and the site team in SwedenReport progress, manage punch lists, and oversee the final handover to the clientRequirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical disciplineMinimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning or mechanical completion within petrochemical or recycling projectsProven experience in writing and implementing commissioning proceduresExcellent command of English with strong communication and leadership skills
