About The RoleGrade Level (for internal use):09The TeamThe Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) has been in operation since 1999 with a focus on the world’s largest companies. In 2025 the research universe extended to 13,000 companies, 3,600 of which actively participate in the assessment. The Corporate Engagement team engages invited companies to promote the CSA and related S&P Global services offerings. Successful candidates have the chance to grow their career in the process.We are searching for people that are passionate about sustainability and would like to join a project-focused, international team of like-minded people, driven to deliver excellence in managing the worlds’ most known Corporate Sustainability Assessment. Our department is project-focused and relies on our proprietary methodology and software to manage the corporate engagement and participation process.Responsibilities And ImpactS&P Global Sustainable1, the single source of essential sustainability intelligence, is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to join our Corporate Engagement team. The role provides an opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation in the field of corporate sustainability. The successful candidates will help to expand corporate participation in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).The CSA Is S&P Global’s Central Tool To Engage Corporates To Report On And Improve Their ESG Performance. CSA Results And Collected Data Are Used To Power The Diverse Set Of ESG Products And Services At S&P Global. ESG Focused Investors Need Reliable And Complete Information On Corporate ESG Performance For Their Portfolio Selection. CSA Scores And Data Empower Decision Makers To Identify ESG Top Performers And Channel Investments To Support Their ESG Goals. Your Main Tasks Will IncludePromoting CSA participation to current and target customers.Maintaining and developing a network of ESG contacts at CSA invited companies to encourage their CSA participation, by engaging them pro-actively.Supporting the company’s use of the CSA portal to enable a smooth CSA process and ensure awareness of all available free tools and additional servicesActing as the liaison between companies and the CSA Research team to answer methodology and assessment related questionsSupporting the organization of and participation in internal and external workshops, webcasts and management meetings with companiesUtilizing CRM to monitor pipeline and engagement statusWhat We’re Looking ForBasic Required Qualifications:A completed university degree3+ years of work experience in the field of ESG ratings or research, corporate sustainability or sustainability investingIndustry or sustainability-topic specific experience or expertiseStrong project management and organizational skillsA sound understanding of global sustainability reporting frameworks and trendsStrong analytical skills and an acute attention to detailProficient in the use of MS Excel and other IT toolsExcellent written and spoken EnglishFluent in Spanish, Portuguese or other languages a plus.Additional Preferred QualificationsStrong interest in corporate sustainabilityCustomer-focused and strong interpersonal skillsConstructive and energetic attitudeAbility to work independently yet towards team goalsReliable and able to go the extra mile when requiredBusiness-oriented with an attention to costs and efficiencyAbout Sustainable 1S&P Global’s centralized source for sustainability intelligence, Sustainable1 offers comprehensive coverage of global markets combined with sustainability products, insights and solutions from across our divisions to help customers assess risks, uncover opportunities and inform long-term sustainable growth.
