Job Description

If you are looking to join an experiential agency with a great creative reputation, a suite of top tier clients, and a serious focus on work-life balance (which, let’s be honest, is often lacking in the experiential world) then this one may be for you.The businessAs above, this is a b-corp agency specialising in the world of experiential. This means pop-ups, events, immersive experiences and more - don’t be expecting airport shopping or handing out free product samples on this one.Currently around 45 people, they’ve got clients spanning beauty, fashion, the ever-broad “lifestyle” space and more, with their creative approach having very clear internal values and a laser focus on high quality, energetic and imaginative deliverables.CultureIt’s a massively collaborative business from the get-go. Every project has multiple creatives working on it, and you’ll be hand in hand with the creative production team the whole way through.Like any experiential agency the hours can occasionally by a pain, but there is a proactive ethos of making sure that people have their work-life balance protected, burnout is avoided at all costs, and everybody receives support from those around them and the management team at all times. In short, it’s a collaborative and understanding space and people are genuinely cared for and looked after. They also have a range of really nice perks, a focus on training and developing their people, and a desire to continuously nurture people to help them grow. Why are we hiring? We’re hiring as somebody has left the business after 3 years to do something completely different outside of the industry. What you'll be doingThis is a relatively straightforward senior creative role. On a day to day basis your role can be thought of in three parts.1. Creative outputYou’ll be interrogating client briefs, dreaming up exciting creative concepts,Work with design and production to bring ideas to life.Be hands-on with event delivery (this can mean out of hours work but you’ll get the time back).Be aware of budget and logistical constraints.Elements of art direction for content creation / shoot production.2. Line managementSupporting your two reportees. Pretty straightforward.3. Being a senior member of the teamBeing involved in delivering pitches,Involvement with (but not ownership of) client relationships.Be a positive influence on the agency culture.Who we're looking forPriority number one here is solid experience working in the world of experiential. We want to see a portfolio packed with energy and case studies that demonstrate a keen creative mind. We like creative work that is fun, but has clear guiding and reference points that explain and ground why you did the work, not just an exciting outcome. This also means that we want you to be comfortable with the end to end creative process - interrogating a creative brief, working through ideas with the rest of the team, and then working with producers and production partners to bring the idea to life. The second key priority is some experience in managing other people. You’ll be looking after two other people, which means mentoring and helping to develop their creative skills. A lone wolf won’t cut it here - we need someone who enjoys working closely with other people at a range of levels.Ideally, you’ll also be commercially aware (i.e not coming up with outstanding creative ideas that literally can’t be delivered with the budget) and have a track record working with beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands. If this sounds like the creative role for you then apply now!…and just in case linkedin hasn’t displayed this properly, our salary bracket on this one is £55-65k, and I’m looking to interview people from November 24th as I’ll be completing my shortlist on the 28th.
