Lead Data Engineer

We are searching for a data engineer to take a leading role in our Oslo officeYour role will be hybrid between working hands-on in projects as a senior data engineer/architect, and working with the business to lead & grow our data & analytics environment and projects furtherYou will be joining a team of 300+ employees across data, analytics, software and advisory services, and initially lead a team of 5 data engineers. Our focus is delivering digital solutions which have a real impact on businesses, and building long-term partnerships with our customersAs a leader in the company, you will have the opportunity to explore new customers and domains which interest youProjects can include building data platforms from scratch in the cloud, helping companies to utilise advanced analytics, and large scale reporting solutionsWe typically work with the following technologies: SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric, Power BI, Databricks We are looking for you to have:5+ years of experience in a data engineering roleExperience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Power BIIt is beneficial to have previous experience in consulting or varied projectsExperience in a technical, team, or project leadership role where you have taken initiative for technological decision, strategy, and the performance of others in the team/projectWe require at least B2 in Norwegian/Swedish and EnglishWhat can we offer you?Interesting and varied customer assignments - we work with a mixture of enterprise and SMEs, along with some public sector organisations, so you can build competence in areas which interest youWe actively encourage professional development and give up to 8 days per year where you can take courses, attend conferences or study for certificationsYou will be part of a senior and professional environment where we strive to be known for our reputation in the market, and build long term relationships with our customersWe have created a social working culture where colleagues regularly take lunches together, organise meet-ups and spend time together outside of work.
