Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role based in Amsterdam for a Lead Data Scientist. The Lead Data Scientist will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making by designing and implementing advanced models and algorithms. Key responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets, building data visualization tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights, and guiding a team in data science projects. The role also involves ensuring the scalability and efficiency of data strategies to support business objectives. Qualifications Expertise in Data Science, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and algorithm developmentComprehensive understanding of Statistics and advanced statistical modeling techniquesStrong skills in Data Analytics and proficiency in tools such as Python, R, or SQLProven experience with Data Visualization tools to create clear and insightful visual representationsHands-on experience in Data Analysis and using insights to inform business decision-makingStrong leadership and team management skills to mentor and guide a data science teamExcellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degrees preferredExperience in working within a fast-paced technology or online delivery environment is a plus
