The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, strategizing, executing, and ensuring the successful migration of critical banking data from legacy systems to modern core banking platforms such as Finacle. This role demands deep expertise in data architecture, migration methodologies, and a solid understanding of core banking systems. Lead Data Migration ProjectsManage the full data migration lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, validation, and go-live.Ensure seamless transition from legacy banking platforms to modern core banking systems (e.g., Finacle).Coordinate with business, technology, and vendor teams to deliver successful outcomes. Data Mapping and TransformationValidate and review data mapping from legacy systems to Finacle.Recommend and implement both functional and technical solutions to resolve mapping and transformation issues. Data Quality AssuranceLead post-migration data validation and reconciliation.Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy throughout the migration process. Stakeholder ManagementEngage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.Act as the primary point of contact for all data migration-related communications. Testing and TroubleshootingDevelop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including:Unit TestingSystem Integration Testing (SIT)User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Resolve data-related issues during pre- and post-migration phases. Documentation and ComplianceDocument data migration strategy, methodologies, data flow diagrams, and exception handling procedures.Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards. Risk ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with data migration activities.Develop contingency and rollback plans.
