Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Designer specializing in bags, wallets, and leather essentials. Based in Greater London, the role involves both on-site collaboration and remote flexibility. The Lead Designer will oversee the end-to-end design process, including conceptualization, sketching, prototyping, and final product development. They will work closely with the product development team and artisans to ensure designs align with the brand's vision of high-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will also lead market research, evaluate trends, and contribute innovative ideas to expand and refine the product range. Qualifications Strong design skills, including sketching, 3D modeling, and creating technical drawingsExpertise in materials sourcing, particularly leather and textiles, and understanding of production processesProficiency in trend analysis, market research, and competitive analysisProject management skills, with an ability to oversee and guide the production cycleEffective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teamsA strong portfolio of previous work in bag, wallet, or leather goods designExperience in leading design teams or guiding junior designers is a plusBachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design.
