Brynmor Early Education & Preschool is looking for experienced, passionate, and energetic Lead Early Childhood Teacher sto join their premier preschool in Washington D.C.
Open Positions • Infant/Toddler Teacher; working with children 6-weeks to 3-years-old • Preschool/Pre-K Teacher; working with children 3- to 5-years-old
Schedule Educators work four, 10-hour days from 7:00am-6:00pm with a 1-hour lunch
Salary
$44,000 - $62,000/year* pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities • Ability to understand and support the education program using their child-focused curriculum • Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all time • Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary) • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents • Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team • Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies
Qualifications • REQUIRED Education: AA or BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Educational Psychology, or an education related field • REQUIRED Experience: At least 2-years of experience working with children in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib • Must meet background check eligibility
