Lead Electrical Engineer

Electrical Lead - Gävle, Sweden€70,000- €80,000 + Package Full-Time | Permanent | MEP DivisionA leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering world-class data centres and large-scale construction projects across Europe is seeking an Electrical Lead to join their growing MEP team in Sweden. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of Europe’s most respected contractors, renowned for technical excellence, innovation, and delivery of complex projects to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate all electrical works on site, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and programme milestones.Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture across all stakeholders.Manage subcontractor activities, including progress tracking, manpower monitoring, and quality control.Conduct regular inspections of electrical and CSA installations to maintain quality assurance.Support commissioning planning and ensure systems are ready for beneficial use in line with the master schedule.Liaise with design, commercial, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.Prepare and issue progress, cost, and quality reports.Chair meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors as required.Key Requirements:Degree in Building Services / Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background.Minimum 5+ years’ site-based MEP experience, preferably on hyperscale data centre projects.Strong IT proficiency and familiarity with project management tools.Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to perform in a high-performance team environment.Proven track record in managing electrical installation, commissioning, and quality control on large-scale projects.Additional Requirements:Deep understanding of safety systems, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.Ability to lead and influence safety culture across site teams.Flexibility to travel and work as part of a multinational project delivery team.
