Lead Engineer, Site EquipmentAre you passionate about leading the development of technical solutions in transport, installation, and lifting equipment within heavy industries, especially within the wind industry? Then you might be the Lead Engineer we are looking for.As Lead Engineer in ENABL you will be part of the Site Equipment department, and lead the development of future equipment and machinery for installation, service, transport, lifting of wind turbine components and other heavy industries. We work with the design, development, and calculation of equipment and machinery for among others towers, monopiles, hubs, generators, blades, and nacelles. About the RoleAs Lead Engineer in ENABL you are responsible for the technical solutions of our development projects from concept to validated and completed equipment and you have great impact on design and functionality of the final product. You work with skilled stakeholders across the business in Denmark, Bulgaria, Ukraine and India. This role typically involves a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills. Tasks and key areas of responsibility will be:To have a high-level overview of and responsibility for the technical solution, the quality of the engineering work and the design timeline. To drive the idea generation, conceptual design, 3D modelling, structural calculations, 2D drawings and documentation performed by and in cooperation with the Mechanical, Structural and HW/SW/Electrical engineers. You collaborate with the Sales organization to understand the customer´s needs and suggest concepts and technical solutions and support quotation. You work closely with Project Managers to ensure that the projects are planned and executed efficiently.Mentor and motivate engineering teams across global locations.Your profilePreferably you have a Bachelor/Master´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience which has given you a thorough understanding of complex machinery and a strong understanding of engineering principles. You have 5+ years of experience in engineering of heavy industry equipment. Experience with development of equipment to the wind industry is preferred but not required.You are a Team player who strives to keep the team motivated. You can structure a development project and delegate and coordinate tasks as well as being creative and have the ability to translate ideas into sustainable solutions. You have extensive experience from working with technical projects and excel in creating a working environment that embraces structure, milestones planning and risk management.Besides having strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels in a global organization, you are proficient in English, written as well as verbally.
