Lead Engineer

You will lead an engineering team and play a key role in our cross-functional project teams.Main ResponsibilitiesLead technical changes from customer and internal initiatives.Prepare quotations according to GDLS deliverables.Manage the introduction of new products into production.Ensure APQP requirements are met.Drive design and engineering solutions that are technically and economically sustainable.Coordinate with internal and external parties regarding tooling, manufacturing, and suppliers.Be an active and driving member of the project team.Areas Of ResponsibilityBudget responsibility for product engineering work.Ensure product cost, quality, and timeline.Comply with IAC policies and systems.Your ProfileEngineering degree in automotive, plastics, mechanics, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably interiors.Experience in product and process development as well as tooling.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with customers, suppliers, and production.Basic knowledge of CATIA for design studies.Understanding of drawings, geometry, and reference systems.Fluent in spoken and written English.Ability to travel within Sweden.We OfferA key role in exciting development projects.Opportunity to influence the entire product lifecycle.An innovative and collaborative work environment.
