Being part of Modec means being the protagonist of a challenging career and being in touch with the latest deep-water production systems, knowing that your career begins in Malaysia, but your talent can take you anywhere in the world.If you want to be one of the greatest in the market, this is your opportunity!We are currently looking for talented individuals to join us for below roleLead Engineer, TelecomWe are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.Understand technical requirements: Understand the specific technical requirements for telecoms, of the assigned project (including Construction, Commissioning and Offshore assignment) and Industry Standard, Classification Society and Regulatory requirements. Engineering document preparation: Development and review of documents including drawrings to ensure requirements of specified discipline are met in delivery of project. Plans, reviews and approves the deliverables prepared by Engineers and reviewed by Senior Engineers. Management of team: To ensure productivity of team including Senior Engineers in the team to develop engineering specifications (drawings, data sheets, etc) specific to the assigned project, reviews them and validates with the Project Manager and client. Compliance with HSSEQ policies: Complies with the MODEC HSSEQ Code of Conduct as described in the HSSEQ Policies, and the HSEQ Procedures to protect people and the environment at all times. Has a duty of care to ensure that all personnel work in a manner that is not harmful to all. Compliance: Complies with MODEC Group’s Code of Business Conduct & Ethics and Policies to ensure business activities and decisions conform to the laws and regulations and demonstrates high standard of ethical behaviour. Quality Assurance: To ensure required information is communicated between all parties and work is compliant with quality standards. Engineering Document Management: Independently evaluates all the bids received for Telecom packages from various suppliers, performs a technical bid evaluation process, involves in cost estimation, ensures selected vendors meet technical/engineering and delivery requirements as stated. Problem Analysis and Solving: Independently manages/develops solutions to technical/engineering and related problems by analyzing the issues/data, interpreting the analysis and evaluating various options/measures using experience, precedents and professional references. Supplier & Equipment Audits/Inspection: Visits suppliers, checks and tests Electrical items to ensure that they function as per specifications. Where necessary, works with the concerned suppliers/contractors to rectify the issues and ensures that they comply with the specifications and are ready on time. EPCI Project Support: EPCI Project Support
