This team plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the electrical infrastructure and supporting the continuous operation of production facilities.How will you make a difference?As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the uninterrupted operation and maintenance of the company’s energy infrastructure, including 10 kV and 0.4 kV electrical systems. You will oversee the technical condition of power equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reliability. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production continuity and infrastructure development.What do we want to know about you?Higher technical education in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of power systems.Strong knowledge of high and low voltage equipment (10 kV / 0.4 kV).Experience in planning energy consumption and analyzing energy efficiency.Familiarity with occupational safety and electrical safety regulations.Proficiency in working with technical documentation and maintenance planning.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Proficiency in English is preferable.Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required.What will your typical day look like?Ensure the uninterrupted operation of engineering networks and power supply systems.Supervise the technical operation and timely maintenance of energy equipment.Monitor the efficient use of energy resources and enforce energy-saving practices.Develop energy production and consumption plans.Prepare procurement requests for energy equipment, materials, and spare parts.Participate in testing and commissioning of energy systems and infrastructure.Implement initiatives to improve the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of energy operations.Enforce occupational health and safety standards in energy system operations.Contribute to labor organization improvements and workplace certification.Supervise team discipline, maintain work schedules, and manage time tracking.Issue work permits and conduct electrical safety knowledge checks for operational staff.We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.Please note that we do not accept agency candidate submissions without a formalized agreement with Talent Acquisition.
