With over two decades of experience, this organization builds technology that enhances efficiency, fosters transparency, and improves how people serve their communities.Job SummaryWe’re looking for a Lead Fullstack Engineer (.NET/Angular) to drive a large-scale modernization initiative — transforming a legacy .NET MVC application into a cloud-native, microservices-based platform on .NET 8.0.In this high-impact leadership position, you’ll oversee multiple development teams (2–4 teams of 4–7 engineers) while remaining hands-on with architecture and critical implementation work. You’ll define the technical vision, establish engineering best practices, and guide your team through the full modernization lifecycle. This is both a strategic and deeply technical role where you’ll help shape the future of a mission-critical platform used at scale.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & StrategyLead the end-to-end migration from a legacy .NET MVC monolith to a modern .NET 8.0 microservices architecture hosted on AWS. Define and enforce technical standards, architecture principles, and coding best practices across backend, API, and database layers. Make high-impact design decisions that ensure scalability, resilience, and performance. Champion the adoption of AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer) to enhance team velocity and quality. Own the technical roadmap and collaborate with product and engineering managers to align priorities with business outcomes. Team Mentorship & CollaborationMentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and accountability. Lead architecture and code reviews to ensure consistent, maintainable, and high-quality deliverables. Partner with front-end leads, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cohesive, cross-functional solutions. Communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Hands-On Technical ExecutionArchitect, build, and optimize microservices, APIs, and data pipelines in .NET 8.0 and AWS. Oversee MS SQL Server schema design, performance tuning, and data access strategies. Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver performant, maintainable Angular-based applications. Implement robust testing and deployment practices through CI/CD pipelines. Diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring stability and scalability across environments. Qualifications And Job Requirements7+ years of experience in SaaS or Enterprise Application Development. At least 2 years in a Tech Lead or Engineering Lead capacity. Expert-level knowledge of the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core, .NET 5–8) and distributed system design. Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices in AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS). Mastery of MS SQL Server — including performance tuning, complex query optimization, and schema design. Significant Angular experience and ability to lead fullstack integration strategies. Proven track record mentoring engineers and driving large-scale architectural decisions. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and their practical integration into team workflows.
