All of this takes place at companies in your region—active in industries ranging from offshore to the space industry.For one of our clients, active in the offshore industry, we’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer.A Short Overview Of Your Responsibilities IncludesManaging the entire engineering life cycle: from the concept phase to the delivery phase;Acting as the point of contact for clients (this includes identifying the client's request and supporting the budgeting process);Performing various calculations and creating design models using CAD software;Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers.What We Expect From YouIn addition to holding a completed Bachelor or Master’s degree, for example in Mechanical, and having at least 5 years of relevant experience within heavy equipment designs and concepts, you also possess the following qualifies.Proactive mindset - You take initiative, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;strong communication skills - You can clearly and effectively communicate in both Dutch and English, whether you're speaking with colleagues or suppliers;entrepreneurial and creative - You don't just focus on your own tasks but consider the bigger picture, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes;appreciation for variety - You enjoy working on diverse projects and actively seek out technical challenges rather than avoiding them;stronger together - You're driven to support others and feel genuinely connected to your team.What You Can Expect From UsWithin our Science & Technology team, we are constantly growing.
