Introductionli]:text-brunel-dark-grey [&_ul>li]:py-2 [&_p]:text-brunel-dark-grey [&_ul>li>ul>li]:pl-0 text-brunel-dark-grey introduction max-h-[300px] overflow-hidden">The Lead Planner provides planning / scheduling expertise to the project team (based on assigned project areas) ensuring overall project schedule quality and integrity to support project execution.The Lead Planner will perform various schedule analysis to determine potential areas of concern and coordinate inputs for mitigation plan.Requires to (1) understand the key project drivers, define roles and responsibilities, develop communication protocols, identify, develop & implement project procedures for planning, scheduling, reporting, management of change and identification of risks & issues across projects; (2) identify elements of project design, procurement and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims, communicate and influence across the organization in LNG and/or with contractors in a multi-cultural environment to ensure delivery of project within the agreed timeframe.Major challenges are (1) completing detailed assessments of project planning / scheduling, recovery / rectification plans in short deadlines and a high-pressure environment and (2) developing and sustaining relationships with contractor Project Controls Planning team throughout project execution to ensure Company is provided with timely and the best available information to aid decision making.Understand the contractors Advanced Work packing Process and Systems (AWP) including the progress reporting system.Analyze and report the impact of engineering, procurement constraints/delays on construction progress curves and ultimately the L3 & L4 construction project schedules.Understand the contractors & Subcontractors work face planning process. Analyze and report the impact of construction readiness constraints (equipment, tools, manpower etc.) on construction L3 & L4 project schedules.
