Lead Process Engineer (Gas Technologies)

Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE : LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER (Gas Technologies) Senior Lead Process Engineer with minimum 15 years experience in design, execution and commissioning of Process Packages (Gas Technologies) for Upstream Oil & Gas (mainly Offshore) and Renewable Energy sectors. International experience in similar position with providers of Process Packages or EPC Contractors is essential requirement.Fluency in English language is essential.Key Responsibilties And DutiesProvide input to Sales Manager during bid evaluation process ensuring the company has a technological competitive advantageReview request for quotation (RFQ) packages and ensure thorough understanding of the client’s requirementsSelect appropriate technology and design concept Basic & Detail engineering involving heat & mass balance calculation, preparation of piping & instrument diagram (P&ID), process flow diagram (PFD), utility flow diagram (UFD), material selection diagram (MSD), line sizing, sizing of equipment (like tanks, pumps, heat exchangers). Use of HYSYS and HTRI sizing software.Preparing Engineering specification, Process package and process data sheets for equipment & instrumentsDeveloping control philosophy, logics, and cause & effect diagramReviewing of vendor quotes for technical compliance with project specifications and requirementsParticipate in client visits, presentations and marketing of company capabilitiesPrepare and develop process designs for proposals (Gas Technologies / Renewables)Support preparation of cost estimates for proposals in collaboration with other company departments including proposal, supply chain management and projectsPreparation of technical proposals and technical clarifications and negotiations with customers during tender evaluationAssist with the handover of confirmed orders to projects including all correspondences, pricing, specifications and design notesCompletely involved in process design after award of order and until commissioningPreparing PFD & P&ID, GA drawing after award of orderCoordinate with global technology resources to ensure consistency of design, sharing of experience and common approach to technologiesDevelop and maintain good relations with clients and technological partnersAssist Project Department in process related issues during project execution.Observe company and client HSE procedures and requirementsContinuously evaluate and take initiative to improvement of products, technology and internal procedures to ensure company’s competitivenessContribute to maintenance and upgrade of technology within allocated product responsibilities Developing installation, operating and maintenance manualsDeveloping startup and commissioning procedureLead plant commissioning, start-up and performance testingFamiliar with industry codes and standards
