Lead Project Engineer | ZH | Offshore | English speaking possible

Focus Engineering is currently looking for a Lead Project Engineer for our client in the maritime and offshore sector in the Rotterdam area.This is a permanent position with our client.Our client supports complex maritime projects worldwide by providing technical expertise and innovative solutions for heavy lifting and transport operations at sea. They serve various clients in the Marine, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical sectors. Their services combine engineering, fleet management, and project execution for offshore construction and installations. The site employs over 100 people, 45 of whom work within the engineering department.The job:You will lead a team of Project Engineers while also actively contributing to projects;You will be responsible for the T&I scope and focus on line management;You will manage subcontractors, CAPEX projects, recruitment and evaluation of Project Engineers, and capacity planning;You will collaborate with various internal departments within the organization.Who are you?You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore & Dredging, Naval Architecture, or a similar field;You have at least 10 years of experience in the maritime, offshore, or shipping industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role;You are eager to grow further into a leadership role while remaining hands-on in projects;You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.What do you get?A gross annual salary of up to €97,000 (full-time);Various opportunities for advancement within the organization;28 vacation days;Possibilities for remote work;Room for both professional and personal development.Does this sound interesting to you?
