You will work closely with software engineers and product owners to ensure the highest quality of our products, focusing on a modern testing strategy with both automated and manual tests. This role offers the opportunity to shape testing processes, mentor less senior team members, and contribute to delivering robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions across our product suite.Essential Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with software engineers and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test coverage. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for different types of testing including functional, performance, and regression tests across our platform. Plan, execute, and document both manual and automated testing to ensure consistent product quality. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability, quality, and maintainability aspects of the code. Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and product reliability. Develop testing strategies that enable support teams to quickly detect and resolve production issues. Perform root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Mentor and guide less senior QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 8–12 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including both automated and manual testing. Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for various types of testing including functional, regression, and performance tests. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies. Strong experience integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a structured approach to defect analysis. Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and guidance. Proficiency in English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
