Job Description SummaryThe Process Quality Engineer is the quality expert and a key role in the parts NCR/RMA process. Primary focus is Power NCR/RMA correction and containment with additional responsibilities to drive continuous improvement projects (PSR, RCA, CIM) and support auditing activities. This is a great opportunity to develop competencies in core quality processes, establish strategic operational goals, and to collaborate across functions and poles.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prioritize, and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivitySupport all regions for NCRs, RMAs, escaping defectsDrive continuous improvement and problem solving through PSRs, RCAs and CIMsMaintain and audit the quality system established by the QMSSupport and/or coordinate cross functional team effortsInterface with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Order Management, Inventory, Sales, Six Sigma, IT, and Traditional QualityPresent analysis and recommendations proactively to staff levelFollow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules, execute mandatory EHS trainings and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required.Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns with verbally or in writing.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or collegeProven experience in a quality, operations, or engineering roleDesired CharacteristicsParts or Supply Chain related experienceUnderstanding of Parts IT systems (Oracle, PowerMax, PowerNCR)Technical or Quality backgroundDemonstratable problem-solving abilities in a cross functional team environmentPracticed in Lean Problem-Solving MethodologyProven track record of project managementExperience working in a global cross functional environmentStrong Management Experience; strategic thinking and problem solvingAbility to comprehend technical documentationAbility to work to tight deadlinesAbility to organize / manage competing prioritiesGB certification (GE Internal Only)Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills" For Hungary-based candidates only: Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary."For US based candidates only: The base pay range for this position is $93,500.00 - 155,900.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
