Lead R&D Test Engineer

Job Title: Lead R&D Test EngineerLocation: Seoul, South KoreaKey ResponsibilitiesLead and own the testing solutions for South Korea, designing and maintaining test cases and scenarios for company SDK products and services.Define, implement, and continuously improve test processes while mentoring and guiding a team of test engineers.Execute exploratory and regular testing cycles to support frequent software releases across multiple product variants.Conduct field tests using various hardware, platforms, and architectures.Collaborate closely with developers, local teams, and cross-functional global teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues.Partner with company’s global testing organization to enhance test infrastructure, introduce automation, and drive innovative testing solutions in South Korea.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).Minimum 8 years of client-side software testing experience, with at least 3 years in a team or project leadership role.Hands-on experience in mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms.Familiarity with JIRA and other test management systems.Proven experience conducting field tests (experience with navigation software is a plus).Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and collaborative workflows.Deep interest in mobile technologies and up-to-date knowledge of the latest iOS and Android releases.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both Korean and English.Knowledge of automotive navigation solutions is an advantage.
