About The TeamWe are seeking an experienced Team Lead to manage a high-performing team of four professionals, including one Analyst and three Inventory Planners. The role requires a strong background in data analytics, demand and order forecasting, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will not only drive the design and execution of forecasting models but also implement strategic initiatives to optimize working capital and improve overall inventory performance of Retail and Consignment businesses. This individual will frequently present performance reports and strategic initiatives to senior management and ensure smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives.Job DescriptionTeam Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 4, consisting of 1 Analyst and 3 Inventory Planners, to meet and exceed performance goals and deliver on critical business objectives.Demand & Order Forecasting: Design, develop, and implement demand forecasting and order forecasting models. Ensure accurate demand predictions to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overstocking.Inventory Management Strategy: Design and implement strategies to optimize inventory management and working capital. Ensure the right inventory levels are maintained to support operational efficiency while minimizing excess stock and working capital.Performance Reporting & Analysis: Regularly generate and present performance reports, tracking key metrics such as forecasting accuracy, inventory turnover, and working capital optimization. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas for process improvement within forecasting, inventory planning, and overall supply chain management. Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with various teams (commercial, procurement, finance, warehouse, business intelligence, etc.) to implement inventory and forecasting strategies effectively across the organization. Ensure timely execution of improvement initiatives across functions.Management Presentations: Prepare and deliver frequent presentations to senior management, communicating the team’s performance, progress on initiatives, and data-driven recommendations for further improvements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).At least 5 years of experience in demand forecasting, inventory planning, or data analytics, with a proven ability to lead teams.Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of professionals.Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, etc)Strong experience in presenting complex data and performance metrics to senior leadership.Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to execute strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional collaboration.
