Join us.Your impactAs a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at OpenText, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based services. You will build innovative solutions to automate operations, eliminate repetitive tasks, and deliver a seamless and resilient experience to our global customer base. Acting as a bridge between development and operations, you will drive continuous improvements in system monitoring, incident response, and operational readiness—powering the success of mission-critical applications at scale.What The Role OffersOpportunity to design, implement, and scale proactive monitoring and alerting solutionsHands-on involvement in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem improvementsCollaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system resilience and performanceA leadership role in defining and evolving runbooks, automation pipelines, and SRE best practicesExposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)A culture of innovation, continuous learning, and shared ownership in a fast-growing cloud engineering teamWhat You Need To SucceedDeep expertise in Linux systems, scripting (Python, Shell, etc.), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Proven experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Kibana)Hands-on skills in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Ansible, ArgoCD, GitOps)Strong background in microservices, RESTful architecture, and middleware support (Apache, Tomcat, Spring)Familiarity with both RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MariaDB) databasesAbility to lead incident resolution, mentor teammates, and collaborate effectively across technical teamsOne last thingOpenText is more than just a corporation; it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
