This position works closely with the sourcing manager and category manager in the Store Supplies/Facilities categoriesJob SummaryThe primary purpose of this role is to partner with key areas of the Enterprise Strategic Sourcing team to execute sourcing projects that accomplish the goals of both the organization and the business units they support. This position works closely with the sourcing manager and category manager in the Store Supplies/Facilities categories (supplies, collateral and racking areas, specific to our retail and supply chain locations in USA) to executive a variety of sourcing techniques that include data and baseline analysis, RFx development and contract execution. Other key components of the role include contributing to continuous improvement activities, building relationships with the business and support teams, and supporting key initiatives for the organization. In addition to the sourcing responsibilities, this role will also support vendor management, procurement operations and catalog support for the business teams.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities:Develops and executes RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, etc. as needed to support the business needsDevelops baseline analysis and current conditions for sourcing events.Consolidates vendor bid sheets.Completes initial bid analysis for sourcing events.Initiates vendor outreach and develops vendor list for sourcing events.Sets up sourcing events using appropriate E-Sourcing tools and processes.Owns and updates ESS and business partners on sourcing project updates and status of initiatives.Negotiates, processes and executes vendor NDA's and Master Agreements, while adhering to financial policies and compliance requirements.Drafts and develops Statement of Work (SOWs) with the outline of technical requirements for sourcing projects and RFX events.Coordinates necessary documentation and process for vendor on-boarding.Expected to interface frequently with customers regarding project updates and status.Builds and maintains effective customer relationships.Years Of Experience5 – 8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Contract and SoW Drafting, NegotiationsEducation Qualification & Certifications (optional)Required Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degreeSkill Set RequiredPrimary Skills (Must have)Strategic Sourcing, Contract and SoW Drafting, NegotiationsExperience in Project management and Vendor Management is a mustExperience in dealing with USA/international stakeholders, suppliers and/or clients is a mustExperience in building RFPs, SOWs and Contracting and running Projects is a must.Experience in negotiating multi-million-dollar contractsExperience collaborating and communicating at the executive levelExperience managing cross-functional project teams and resourcesProficient with MS Office SuiteProcurement experience for US and Canada markets is requiredVery good English communication skillsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.Lowe's is an equal opportunity employer and administers all personnel practices without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
