What’s In It For YouSalary: Competitive salary, Equity and strong benefits (see below)Location: Fully remote across the UK, Ireland, or US East Coast (with a few trips per year)Impact: Take full ownership of all technical documentation, define the standards, shape the structure, and make the docs as good as the product itself.Autonomy: No team to manage, no legacy mess, you’ll be the person building the documentation function from the ground up.Why This RoleYou’ll be joining a scaling SaaS business building developer-first products used by engineers, DevOps, and SRE teams worldwide. Their product helps companies secure and manage software supply chains — and the docs are key to how customers understand and adopt it.They’ve had a contractor owning documentation up to now. This role replaces that with someone who’ll build consistency, set standards, and help the docs scale as the product does. It’s a high-trust environment with the freedom to experiment and make things better without red tape.What You'll be DoingOwn and manage the full documentation experience end to end.Define standards, refine information architecture, and design publishing workflows.Write and maintain product guides, tutorials, API docs, and release notes.Partner with engineers and product teams to document new features as they ship.Create multimedia content (screenshots, videos, walkthroughs) to improve learning.Build and maintain a style guide for consistency across all technical content.What They’re Looking For7+ years writing developer-focused documentation (DevOps tools,APIs, SDKs, or infrastructure software).Deep experience with Markdown and Git-based workflows.Experience with static site generators or documentation frameworks.Solid understanding of how to structure and present technical content clearly.Comfortable working closely with engineers and product managers.Curious, adaptable, and strong attention to detail.Bonus: Experience with OpenAPI, REST/GraphQL doc generation, or CI/CD pipelines for docs.The CultureYou’ll be joining a remote-first team that genuinely trusts people to get things done.
