Delivery Hero has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX stock market index.Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Assistant Manager, Telesales (Bangladesh) to support and grow our telesales operations in the market. Reporting directly to the Regional Telesales Lead, this role will oversee telesales activities in Bangladesh, managing a local team of telesales agents to drive new vendor acquisition, activation, and upselling initiatives. The Assistant Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams across APAC to ensure alignment with regional standards, processes, and business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Local Market ExecutionLead, coach, and develop the telesales team in Bangladesh to achieve acquisition, activation, and upsell targets. Monitor team KPIs (calls per day, contact rate, activations, productivity per head, upsell adoption) and take corrective actions when necessary. Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and ensure timely intervention for underperformance (PIP/IDP). Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of telesales agents in the Bangladesh market. Sales Funnel & Vendor AcquisitionManage the telesales funnel from lead allocation, follow-up, to conversion and first order. Ensure agents follow standardized processes for lead engagement and vendor onboarding. Drive initiatives to meet all core KPIs set by management. Work closely with onboarding and content teams to resolve bottlenecks such as QC rejections, menu processing delays, and documentation issues. Operational Excellence & ComplianceEnsure Bangladesh telesales operations are aligned with regional SOPs, compliance standards, and quality assurance measures. Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to the Regional Telesales Lead on performance and opportunities. Implement process improvements to boost agent productivity, lower CPA, and improve vendor experience. Monitor adherence to talk-time, ring-time, and call quality standards (CTI benchmarks). Stakeholder CollaborationAct as the local point of contact for telesales, working with regional operations, sales ops, and marketing to support lead generation and conversion campaigns. Share market-specific challenges, vendor feedback, and competitor insights to influence regional strategies. Support implementation of new tools (CRM, CTI, automation) within the Bangladesh team. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or sales operations, preferably with exposure to Bangladesh’s SME/restaurant market. At least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant manager role leading sales teams. Proven track record in driving sales performance, managing KPIs, and coaching sales teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven approach to decision making. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent) and telesales/CTI systems preferredExcellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
