Learning and Development Manager (2-year contract role) | Highly Renewable | 3-4 months BonusWe are partnering with a recognised organisation in the aviation sector that is expanding its learning and development arm. They are looking for an experienced Learning Solutions Manager or Senior Manager who can bring creative energy, strong instructional design capabilities, and a commercial mindset to design and deliver impactful learning experiences for corporate clients. Role RequirementsThis role sits at the intersection of design, facilitation, and client engagement. You'll take ownership of developing learning journeys - from diagnosing needs to crafting and rolling out programmes - while ensuring every solution is practical, relevant, and grounded in business outcomes.You'll collaborate with internal partners and external clients across industries, help strengthen the learning brand through high-quality delivery, and support the growth of bespoke corporate learning initiatives.Lead the end-to-end design of learning programmes - from scoping client requirements and identifying learning objectives to developing training materials, toolkits, and evaluation frameworks.Conduct research and learning needs analysis using methods such as interviews, focus groups, and surveys to uncover performance gaps.Facilitate training workshops and masterclasses for external audiences, both virtually and in-person.Coach and prepare other facilitators through Train-the-Trainer sessions, ensuring alignment to learning standards and delivery style.Continuously enhance and refresh course content based on learner feedback, industry updates, and organisational priorities.Partner with business development teams to design proposals and pitch ideas that meet client expectations and reinforce the organisation's L&D value proposition.Act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert when discussing client learning challenges and recommending appropriate interventions. What do you need to succeedDegree-qualified, ideally with specialisation in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related disciplines.At least 5 years of experience in L&D design and facilitation, preferably in client-facing or commercial training environments.Proven expertise in developing learning experiences centred on service or operational excellence. WSQ ACLP/ACTA and DDDLP/DACE certification (or equivalents) required.Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills, with the ability to juggle multiple client engagements.Tech-savvy with good command of Microsoft Office, virtual learning tools (Zoom, Teams), and design platforms (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
