We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing learning and development strategies, design courses, assess development plans and track learning effectiveness. They collaborate with employees and managers to support career development and manage budgets and vendor relationships.Position OverviewAs Learning & Development Specialist, you will be crucial in enhancing organizational performance through strategic learning initiatives. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you will oversee performance appraisals, draft job descriptions, design and implement training programs, and ensure smooth onboarding processes across all business units under SS Lootah Group and shared servicesKey ResponsibilitiesConduct performance appraisals to assess employee productivity and development needs.Draft and update job descriptions with the hiring team and HR.Develop and implement comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational goals.Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires to ensure seamless integration into the organization.Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and opportunities for skills enhancement.Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.Assist in the design and delivery of leadership development programs.Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all L&D activities.Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)Minimum Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum 5 years of experience in L&D, coaching, training or any related feild, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacityCertification in training and development (e.g., CPLP) is a plus.Experience in the construction or industrial sector is advantageous.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Strong understanding of L&D, Performance Appraisal Processes and Methodologies.Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
