Lecturer for Artificial Intelligence

Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) module. The ideal candidate will have strong foundations in mathematics and AI concepts, along with a commitment to high-quality teaching and student development. The lecturer will guide students through essential mathematical principles for AI and progressively introduce core machine learning approaches, including regression and classification techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Curriculum DeliveryDeliver lectures, tutorials, and workshop sessions on:Foundational mathematics for AI including:Statistics & ProbabilityLinear AlgebraCalculusIntroductory concepts in Artificial Intelligence and Machine LearningRegression and classification models and related algorithmsDevelop engaging instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments.Introduce real-world case studies and hands-on practices to enhance learning outcomes.Guide students in coding practicals (preferably using Python and relevant ML libraries).Qualifications & SkillsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Strong understanding of mathematical fundamentals for AI and machine learning concepts.Demonstrated teaching experience or relevant industry experience.Technical SkillsProficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.Ability to explain mathematical foundations behind ML algorithms.Familiarity with educational tools, LMS platforms, and data visualization tools is a plus.Personal & Professional AttributesExcellent communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic excellence.Ability to inspire and motivate diverse student groups.
