Chichester College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Lecturer in 14-16 Alternative Provision at our Brinsbury campus. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £27,785 - £43,325 per annum.At Brinsbury College our purpose is to Change Lives Through Learning. You will be creative, experienced and passionate about working with these students aged 14-16 and have the ability to engage and encourage students to participate and develop new skills in an exciting and motivating environment, this may include the delivery of Maths and English as part of your timetable.Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer in 14-16 Alternative Provision:To undertake teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.To undertake and support the delivery of to levels of Functional Skills and GCSE in Maths, English, Personal Social Education (PSE).To ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.To undertake administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.To develop curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration Maths and English development and equality and diversity.To participate in marketing activities and promote the College in a positive way for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.To participate in student reviews and other relevant meetings to manage the achievement and attendance of students.Our ideal Lecturer in 14-16 Alternative Provision should have the below skills and experience:Level 3 (or equivalent) qualificationRelevant industry/subject experienceWorking knowledge of effective behaviour management strategiesTime management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlinesInnovative and creative in meeting the needs of learnersTo obtain an appropriate teaching qualification as defined by the CorporationClosing date: 24th November 2025Please note that your CV will not be seen by Recruiting Managers so please ensure your application form is fully completed.Suitable candidates may be invited to interview prior to the closing date and we reserve the right to close the vacancy early should sufficient applications be received.The Chichester College Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
